Gut-Repairing Turmeric Latte

  • 1 bowl
  • 1 saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 1/4 cup cups nondairy milk oat, soy, cashew, or almond are all good choices
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, add coconut oil, turmeric powder, and pepper and mix into a paste.
  • Pour the nondairy milk into a small saucepan and turn the heat to medium.
  • Once the nondairy milk begins to warm, add in the turmeric paste, cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup.
  • Once ingredients are well combined after about 3 minutes, turn off the heat and pour the latte into a mug.
